Five For Fraturday

Weekend, sweet, weekend! I am linking up with Kacey over at Doodle Bugs Teaching for this week's Five For Friday.

1.
Last week was a busy, busy week.  Report cards were due and parent conferences, but they are now done and I fell a huge weight off of my shoulders.

2.
We began our bat unit last week.  We started out with the question, are bats helpful?  We took a poll and most thought they were helpful, so now we will do a little research and decide if that is true.

3.
We went on a field trip to one of our local museums this past week.  They have an exhibit on bats, which was wonderful.  We even got to experience hearing like a bat.

4.
I finally introduced Reader's Theatre's plays this week.  I use partner plays from A Teeny Tiny Teacher.  My kids love them.  The weather has been great, so I let them practice them outside and then they come in a 'perform' in between mini-lessons.

5.
Truth be told, I have been trying to think of an exciting #5 thing to share and I just can't think of one, so we will leave it at that.

Enjoy your weekend!
