Five For Friday

Happy Friday Friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful Seuss week with your kids.  We had a lot of fun.  It's been a while, but I thought I would link up with Kacey from Doodle Bugs Teaching for her Five For Friday link up.

Last weekend I presented at the Southern California PK1 conference and met some amazing teachers.  I love meeting new blogging friends!  Thanks for the laughs ladies.  You can read more about my weekend here.

I got home Sunday early afternoon from my trip to Southern California and headed straight downtown to watch our annual cycling criterium.  The cyclists are so fast and so fun to watch.  We enjoyed the race, ate some ice cream and walked around downtown.

On Monday, we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with a pajama day and some green eggs and ham in the morning.  Later in the day with had some birthday treats.

It was also a great excuse to pull out my Lorax Converse shoes.

And finally, we played with the Cat Cam app

We finished our Abe Lincolns.  I loved the way they turned out.  I just love directed draw art.  Everything looks so original and unique.

This Abe has ears on top of his head :)

And this Abe's head is buried in his hat and jacket!

Finally, we had a mom come in during our P.E. time and teach our first graders how to foot bag (hacky sack).  They loved it!

There you have it, my week in five!  Have a great weekend.
