Five For Fraturday

Well, have you survived all of the food, family time and shopping?  Our family had a very relaxing Thanksgiving.  We have had some beautiful fall weather this week, so we have gotten outside a lot.  I am linking up with Kacey from Doodle Bugs Teaching to share a little from my week.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of having a little vino time with Kelley from Teacher Idea Factory and Susan and Käri from First Grade Friendly Froggies.  Kelley lives is another norcal girl and is only 45 minutes away.  Lots of laughs and stories!

We have a tradition on Thanksgiving morning to participate in our local Run for Food.  It's a 5k fundraiser for our local food bank.  It's always a lot of fun and a lot of people.  My son participated for the first time this year and he loved it.

Are you a get up early and hit the Black Friday Sales type of person?  I used to be and then online shopping became more prevalent and that is what I do nowadays.  My husband always has to work on that day, so I have no desire to drag my son out with the crowds.  So here is what it looked like at my house on Friday.

Last night we were at a "boring" adult restaurant.  Those words were straight from my son's mouth.  So I gave him my phone to keep him occupied and somewhat content.  Well, he discover Siri for the first time.  He was quite entertained with her.

As you can see, he wore my battery down.

Have you heard about the TPT CyberMonday Sale?  Now is the time to leave feedback on past purchases so you can earn credit over at TPT.  If you are unsure on how to do that, check out Ashley from Flying High in First Grade.  She has a great tutorial.  I'll be back tomorrow with more details on the sale.

Enjoy your day!
