Sunday (on Monday) Smorgasbord Vegas Style!

Hello friends!  I'm back from an amazing week in Las Vegas.  I was so fortunate to meet some phenomenal teachers and learn new ideas to bring back to my classroom next year.

I know many of you are being bombarded with Vegas posts, so I don't want to disappoint.

First off, let me back up to the weekend I was getting ready to leave.  My husband got it in his head that he thought we need a new car.  Ours was older, registration coming due, new timing belt needed, etc.  I told him that I agree, but I was leaving for Vegas soon (like a few hours), so I would be able to look with him when I got back.

Well, I guess he wasn't that patient.  When I landed in Vegas, I was one of those people who instantly turns on their phone and this text pops up.

So I was spared the hours at a car dealership.  It's the same car I had before, just a newer model so it was a safe purchase.

Now onto Vegas!

It's amazing to me the wealth of knowledge that was packed into the Venetian last week.  So many great people to meet, and I didn't even make a dent in my "I hope to meet" list.  I saw some great presenters and had fun with my teaching partners over at Friendly Froggies.  I even met up with my friend Krea from Learning in Progress who I had met in Chicago last year.  So many great memories and I am already looking forward to next year.

I am linking up with Sunday Smorgasbord and What Happens in Vegas.

Now that I am felling motivated for school, time to start a little planning but still enjoy what is left of summer!

  2. That is def the way to buy a car -- let the man do the umpteen hours at the dealership while you have fun in Vegas!!!!
