February Currently

February already?  I always think that things should slow down after Christmas, but it never does.  Oh well, I will make the best of it.

In the meantime, I am linking up with Farley for the February Currently.

Listening- I love mornings.  I have my spot on the couch and it's closest to the fireplace.  It's so nice to sit here, drink my coffee, watch tv or catch up on blogs.

Loving- I really do have a great class this year.  My kids are so sweet and I don't have any major behavior issues.  It truly makes my job so much easier.  This class is perfect to have with the upcoming chaos of moving classrooms!

Thinking- I know spring break is coming up and we have plans, but I don't think I can wait that long.  I may need to plan something sooner, hmmmm.

Wanting- The month ahead will be busy with packing and moving into a temporary classroom, but on top of that I need to think about report cards too!

Needing- I have a big to-do list this morning before I begin an afternoon of eating.  What is up with eating and the Super Bowl?  I just can't seem to pull myself away from all of the yummy dips and appys!  The first thing on my to-do list this morning is a workout.

2 Truths and a Fib- my fib is...

Sewing!  I don't sew, at all!  My mom wishes I did.  She loves to quilt and I think she would like to have that connection, but I just have no interest.  If I need something sewn, I ask her.  My mom is great!

I have traveled to all of the continents except Antarctica.  It was all before I was married and I had a kid.  I am so glad I did it, and I hope to start again when our son gets a little older.

I am an only child.  I always wish I had brothers and sisters, but it never happened.  I have a great friend who I grew up with that is like a sister, but that is as close as it gets.

Speaking of Super Bowl, I marked my store 20% off for the day!

Here are some things that you may enjoy for February.  Click each picture to learn more.

Enjoy your day!  Who do you want to with the big game?

  1. I'm a morning person too! I just love the "quiet before the storm". Enjoy your day and go ahead and eat all those yummy dips!

  2. I am a quilter too and so is my mom. Sometimes I have my mom sew for me even though I know how to!
