I'm down to my last weekend of vacation.  I am a little sad about that.  I do miss my kiddoes, but I love lazy mornings.  Really I do.  So today is a catch-up post.

First up, January Currently.  I am linking up with Farley over here.

Listening-  The Today Show is on and no one else is up.  That is unheard of in this house.  My son is usually up around 5:30-6:00 a.m.  We just returned from vacation yesterday and I guess he is worn out!

Loving-  Vacation, I probably don't need to explain why.

Thinking-  Insane may be an understatement.  Earlier in the week, I mentioned something about "the move."  Well, our school is old, really old.  Years ago, our school was awarded some grant money to rebuild our school (part of it).  It's finally happening, I mean there are construction people at our school working daily.  In order to rebuild, stuff has to be torn down, meaning classrooms.  That's me.  So I am being moved into a temporary classroom over spring break (I won't have a sink, ugh) and then sometime over the summer, I'll be moved into a brand new classroom.  It's exciting, but it will be a little crazy after spring break.  I need to start packing things up.

Wanting-  Spring break, not because of the move.  They will have strong people do that.  I just want my lazy mornings.

Needing- coffee, the coffee maker is slow this morning.

Tradition- Over New Year's we rent a house on a lake and spend it with them for 3 nights.  It's great because we never leave.  We pack enough food (really to last a month) and we just play.  It's a great time.  There is usually snow, but California has not seen much rain or snow.  It is kind of scary actually. Here was our view for the week.

Enjoy your weekend!

  1. I'm not ready to give up my lazy mornings either!
