October Currently

Howdy friends!  Well, can you believe that it is October already.  Before you know it the holidays will be here!  I am a couple of days late, but better late than never for the October Currently.

Listening- It's true, I have such an exciting life.  I am listening to the dishwasher run, woohoo!

Loving- All things pumpkin!  My coworkers may think I am a bit obsessed.  I have had something pumpkin related for lunch and/or dinner every night for a week; pumpkin soup, pumpkin ravioli, pumpkin quesadilla's, pumpkin panini and as I am writing this I am drinking a hot pumpkin chai tea.  The one magazine I subscribe to is The Food Network Magazine and this past month they had an insert called, "50 Things to Make with Canned Pumpkin."  It is my goal to make and try everything this season.

Thinking- As I was planning the 50th day and Halloween, I realized that parent conferences are one month away.  That's soon, really soon!

Wanting- A four-day work week.  I think that I have said this one before because I really do need it!

Needing- Well, since I don't have a four day work week and parent conferences will be here soon, I am really needing to begin my assessments.

Treat- Here's the deal.  I will have the freebie ready tomorrow.  You can take a peek but my kiddoes haven't finished it yet and I want to show the finished product tomorrow, so here is a sneak peak.

Check back tomorrow for this freebie and learn what it is all about!

  1. I was pretty late to the game too. So much to do and so little time! I'm glad I finally got to it though. Have you tried the pumpkin spice M&ms yet?

  3. I just put mine up tonight too!! :) I agree, a four day work week would be amazing! We had our parent teacher conferences last week! It's crazy how quickly they show up in the beginning of the year. I love pumpkin things too, but I have only had pumpkin cream cheese on a plain bagel so far. I can't wait for my first batch of pumpkin bread!! It sounds so yummy right now!!
