Five for Friday

Happy Friday Friends!  I am down to my last three hours.  I have enjoyed my kiddos, but I am ready.  Summer here I come.  In the meantime, here are five things from my week.

1.  My room is packed and report cards are done.  I am ready.

2.  We had game day this past week.  I brought in games from home, that many of my kiddos had not played before.  They learned some new games and played some old favorites.  I emailed a list home to my parents to encourage them to play board games with their kiddos this summer, it's becoming a lost skill with technology.

3.  Take a good look at this picture.  Notice the current temperature and the note the time (I'm a morning person).  Now look at the highs for today and tomorrow, yikes!

At least we are done at 11:00 a.m. this morning.  This leads me to number 4 below.

School time bedtime is 7:30, but last night we started summer early and were in the pool until 9 p.m.  I think that will happen again tonight!  I love summer.

5.  And to celebrate summer, I am having a sale over at my TPT store.  Everything is marked down 15%.  Click the picture to check it out.

Happy weekend friends!  I am happy to join the summer crew, and those who are not there will be soon.

  1. I'm not too far from you. So not looking forward to the heat today and tomorrow... I'm staying inside with the shades down.

  2. Love your games! And you are right: board games are becoming a thing of the past and it is sad.

  3. I'll bet you feel so relieved to have that room packed up! They always look so sad without all our teaching junk in it, though!

Congrats on finishing up the year!

  4. Oh wow - I can't believe it's so hot there! I'd be guzzling those drinks like no tomorrow.

  6. I love all of the windows in your packed up room (and yay for your room being all packed up!!) Oh my word the heat! That is crazy! In Chicago today it was a high of 70 (it was already 72 for you by 6 am!!) That is nuts!

  7. Those! I was excited to see "Chico." My cousin went to school there. It was a great place to visit her! Enjoy that pool!

  8. Whew! With those temperatures, the pool is the only place to be. I'm in Texas, but we haven't had triple digits yet. Rest assured, they are coming.

  9. Wow that hot this early in the summer (well not even summer yet). You are blessed to have a great pool for just such occasions.
