Friday Teacher Feature

Hello friends!  I hope your week is going well.  I always forget how busy the last weeks of school can get.  Despite all of this craziness, let's learn about a new teacher.

I'd like to introduce Jeanette from Third Grade Galore.  Check out Jeanette's blog for some great ideas.  Here is what I have learned about Jeanette.

How long have you been teaching?
13 years

What do you like most about teaching?
No two days are ever the same.  If you have a bad day, you can start fresh the next day.

What has been most challenging for you as a teacher?
One challenge for me is differentiating for all my kids. All the kids are at different levels and want each of them to be challenged in my classroom.

What do you like to do for fun when you are not teaching?
When I am not busy grading papers or planning for next week, I love to sew.  I haven't been doing it as much as I would like, but the summer is almost here.

What is your favorite children's book?
Unlovable by Dan Yaccarino -  This is a super-cute story about a pug named Alfred.  All the other animals make fun of him and he thinks he is unlovable.  Then one day, he meets a new friend.

Share a random fact about you.
Please don't laugh, but I love to dance to Lady Gaga, Poison and any song with a heavy bass.  Random?

Thanks Jeanette. I love the dancing part, I too love to dance to crazy songs like that. If you would like to see some wonderful products, check out her TPT store.

This may be my last Teacher Feature for the school year and through summer. I will start back up with fresh teachers in August. Have a great weekend!
