Friday Teacher Feature

It's Friday! Better yet, It is officially my spring break after today! I ma looking forward to a break. In the meantime, let's meet a new teacher this week.

This week I would like to introduce a 7th and 8th grade teacher named Andrea from Right Down the Middle.  

How long have you been teaching?

11 years

What do you like most about teaching?

I like seeing the "lightbulb" go off when a student finally gets a concept he/she has been working on.

What has been most challenging for you as a teacher?

I think right now it would be two things: budget cuts and student accountability (of lack of accountability).

What do you like to do for fun when you are not teaching?

I like to teach dance, run, read, and spend time with my family.

What is your favorite children's book?

I love "Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White.

Share a random fact about you.

I am a marathon runner.
