11 Random Things About Me

1.  I love playing board and card games, luckily my son does as well.

2.  I was on the Romper Room Show as a kid.

3.  I am a morning person, and love getting up for my early quiet time with coffee.

4.  I am a coffee addict.

5. I secretly with I could be on The Amazing Race. 

6.  I have traveled to 6 out of the 7 continents.  Antarctica is still on my list.

7. I love to be outside doing playing. 

8.  I am organized, but still have a lot of unfinished projects around the house.

9.  I collect snowglobes.

10.  I am a big Disney fan!

11.  I love to bake and cook, but just don't have a lot of time to do it.

Questions I am answering from Susan

1.  What is your educational background?
B.S. is Exercise Physiology, Multiple Subject Credential with CLAD.  This is my 13th year teaching.

2.  Do you shop on TPT?  If so, what is your favorite product you have found on TPT?
Yes!!  It's too hard to pick a favorite.

3.  Where are you from?  Where do you live now?
Northern California, I am backing living where I grew up.

4.  How many students are in your class?  What is the average class size in your district?
I am at a charter school and I have 20 kids.  K-3 at my school is 20, 4-8 is 30 kids.

5.  What is your favorite tool to use in the classroom?
We have iPads and I love them, but I still need to learn to use them to their full potential.

6.  How do you handle "show and tell" in your classroom?
It's a prize choice from the prize catalog (see question 7)

7. Do you give "rewards" in your classroom?
I use stamp charts and when that is filled, they pick their prize from a prize catalog.

8.  How would you describe your classroom management style?
organized and structured

9.  What grade have you taught?

10.  What's the last book you read for pleasure?
London Falling

11.  What are your hobbies?
scrapbooking, digital design, gardening

1. Do you sleep with or without socks?It depends on the season- summer, no socks and winter, with socks.

2.  Favorite ice cream flavor?
Mocha Almond Fudge 

3. How do you eat an Oreo cookie?
whole bites (I don't' take off the top)

4. Commercials - hate them or love them?
hate them

5. Do you read the end of the book first?
No, that spoils it!

6. Crust or no crust?

7. Do you like driving?
I don't mind it. I don't like being stuck in traffic, but fortunately I don't live where there is much traffic anymore.

8. Snow or rain?

9. What is your favorite day of the week and why?
Fridays, because the weekend is right around the corner.

10.  Cat or dogs?
both, I had both and love each of their characteristics. 

11.   Which do you do first: wash your face or brush your teeth?
wash my face
